Marilyn Letters is a fully original creation of mine, inspired by the timeless icon Marilyn Monroe. In this work, I play with the tension between image and typography: Marilyn’s recognizable contours are combined with graphic letters that reference her status as a cultural symbol.
The result is a powerful and contemporary portrait in which I reinterpret Monroe’s glamour and vulnerability. Through the integration of letterforms, a layered image emerges where identity, fame, and visual language converge.
With Marilyn Letters, I breathe new life into a 20th-century icon and transform her into a contemporary artwork that balances pop art, graphic expression, and personal interpretation.
